FYI, hope this won't be an issue in this league and based on how quickly the 1st round went and how everyone seems to be very active, I don't think it will be. But, for the integrity of this league I am NOT going to unlock the next round at the end of a round if any team has been skipped and not picked (UNLESS the team has no more minors spots available to pick and then he'd be skipped anyway). That would happen if a team has maxed out at 60 minor leaguers.
If I don't hear from any team and they've been skipped (12 hours have gone by on the clock) then at the end of said round player(s) will be assigned to those teams for the missed picks based on MLBPipeline.com's Draft Top 200 and the highest rated player(s) still on the board. I will do this at the end of each round if I have to. Parent Franchise Protection is after Round 2 anyway.
I cannot and will not have teams losing advantage in this league because of missed/skipped picks in the draft. Everyone has known for a long time that this begins on January 5th. It does every year.
If any owner is planning on not using their picks in this Minors draft then I need to know about it ASAP. Thanks.
