The Los Angeles Mariners have traded Carson Smith (BOS) to the Colorado Tigers for prospect Steven Moya (Det). This trade is pending the commissioners approval. Terms of the deal are listed below. Anthony and I are attempting to form this team with a little stronger minor league system. We like Moya because we think Detroit in the off season might open up a DH spot for him in the 2017 season. We think he can help us in 2017. Trade contracts are listed below...

The title of each trade post should have both teams involved. Please see how I modified the title of the two previous trades. I can modify this one but please do so moving forward. We also don't need the date in a trade thread because everything on the board is timestamped. Thanks!

Steven Moya was in Colorado Tiger's active roster in weeks 13-18 last year and therefore has lost his prospect status. His contract starts this year and should be: 2017 ($.5M), 2018 ($.5M), 2019 ($.5M), 2020 ($.5M).

As Mitchell pointed out, Moya was in Colorado's active lineup this past season. That was his $0 year. His contract moving forward is 17-20:$0.5M. That's it. There are no $1M/$2M/$3M Arb seasons with Prospect contracts. I've modified the original post above to reflect this.

Also, Carson Smith's contract is incorrect. He was promoted in 2015, which was his $0 year. His contract should then be 16-19:$0.5M with no $1M/$2M/$3M arbitration years.
Not sure where his contract got screwed up, but this is another good reason to check the master spreadsheet, especially before making trades to make sure everything matches up and is correct.
