Miami 2017 - a Billy Joel song, right? OK since I went to Cincinnati last July for the weekend and hit the Futures Game, Legends & Celebrity Softball Game, FanFest and a great couple nights in the city, I have withdrawal not being in San Diego this year.
I've already mentioned this before to a few guys but now I'm serious. Who's in for next year in Miami? At least Saturday and Sunday nights but maybe 3. If we could get tickets for Monday's HR Derby at a decent price then maybe I'd consider that night too, but Saturday in Miami and then All Star Sunday is good enough for me. It's not hard to get tickets for All Star Sunday but it's a lot more difficult and pricey to get HR Derby night and that's not even high on the top of my list.
The reason I bring it up now is for whoever's interested we should reserve hotel rooms now, or at least next week right after the ASG. At least room(s) that can be cancelled with no penalty.
Let me know if you're interested.

Who is this Scott guy that keeps trying to get people to go to baseball games. Of course I'm in. Tampa here, can fly over in a jiffy. Or we can catch a Rays game, drive over, catch a Marlins game then the ASG. Hey, I thought we do it big down here, lol. Scott, do you think they'll let me in the Home Run Derby? How about the old timers game, lol.

Bump. So who's interested? Kimpton's Epic Hotel in downtown Miami has been reserved. So far Colorado Tigers Jon, Brandon from DD1/DD4 and I are definites. I'm waiting on confirmation from a few other guys who have expressed interest. @metsrule7, are you still interested? Would need to know for how many nights as I figure how many people in each hotel room. Hoping to keep it to 3.
