Pretty sure Sale is gonna have a monster year as a Brave and being a Cub fan hated to give up Michael Busch but the two biggest areas my team needed to improve on was power and saves. Schwarber and Lange fill those needs.

Plenty of back and forth on this one but Houston was quick to respond and easy to communicate with. Best of luck to him and the Boston Padres going forward.

Agreed. As a Braves fan, getting Sale here will be really fun to watch. I agree with Carl that I am a believer in his stock rising for the Braves. We went through multiple iterations to get this done, but ultimately Sale rounds out my rotation and I am hoping Busch breaks out enough this year to add some of the value lost by Schwarber. Thanks to Carl for fun and healthy negotiations!
