2 things. Yes this deal needs to be reworked.
1) Going back to Initial Franchise Selection last December, John (Boston Padres) traded his 1st round 2016 Minors pick to Drew (Cleveland Braves) in this deal from 12/13/14:
John's team trades 9/21 and my 2016 1st rd pick in the prospect draft
Drew trades 5/25
So unfortunately Ace doesn't have that 1st round pick to trade to Derrick.
2) Pedroia can be traded. Derrick would need to Franchise Tag him here, which is not the case and Ace cannot then Franchise Tag him. The other option is that Ace RFA's him in hopes of matching the highest free agent contract offer. This is allowed although it's a risk and no guarantee that a match will occur.

After Drew and I examined this revised deal, Commish Approved. We feel ERod, Ross and Wong for Sale is fair value and then adding Tim Anderson in just to give San Diego the right to RFA Pedroia is also fair. San Diego understands he'll need to match the highest FA contract offer for Pedroia in order to keep him.
Will process on Fantrax. Please make sure both ProBoards team rosters are updated.
