Jose Leclerc p TEX 23-25: 2.75M

Minnesota sends

Merrill Kelly P ARI 23-24: 500K

Kenta Maeda P MIN 23: 2.5M 24: 1.5M

Reasoning: I'm happy to acquire two pitchers I like in this deal. My roster won't have a lot of room for Burleson and Brennan next year so moving them for two arms I like works great for me. I had to include Leclerc to make the deal work from a financial standpoint. Great working with Carl to put this together and hopefully they produce for him!

Kelly and Maeda are both having good seasons when healthy, but we're going younger with the rebuild. Brennan and Burleson especially fit the bill and will be an upgrade over some players currently on our roster. Mateo will give us some steals and LeClerc will be a nice addition to the pen if he ever figures it out

Nice trading with Rusty as always.
