Boston sends: Jordan Walker, 3B - STL (prospect) Austin Hendrick, OF - CIN (prospect) Edward Cabrera, SP - MIA (prospect) Darin Ruf 1B,LF - NYM 22-23: 3M Cincinnati sends: Luis Campusano, C - SD 22: $0 Bryson Stott, SS,2B - PHI 22: $0 Casey Mize, SP - DET 22-25: 500K Anthony DeSclafani, PS - SF 22-23: 7M 4th Round draft pick Reasoning: speaking of pushing the chips in for next year... Walker is a stud and will truly be missed. but the ability to get multiple great players with control who all look to contribute in a big way next year is worth giving up the 20 year old masher who will have to change positions to get to the majors. This trade is a good while in the making. The Angels were persistent and we made what is likely to be a trade that pays dividends to both sides for years to come. Good luck Chad!

Appreciate Houston talking through several options here. After several deals to start the rebuild, very excited to add my most talented prospect yet in Walker. After acquiring Shea, it made it easier to part with Campusano. I’m high on Edward’s potential if he can stay healthy. Worth the risk and worth giving up MLB ready guys for Walker. Hope it works out for both of us! Good luck to the Padres in their push.
