Just clarifying on Javier Baez. He would be franchise tag eligible, but not prospect tag eligible. Prospect tag is for players who were originally prospects when the league started and who’s original contract is expiring after its fifth year, meaning it would be the last year of the 500k contract.

I can’t remember who I asked, but someone said that the original prospect contracts were different in this league (like 1M, 2M, 3M or something like that). I totally understand if he is not eligible, but don’t know where I can find the info on his contract?

Anyone who is prospect tag eligible will be coming off a 500K year. The guys who were on the original 1M/2M/3M years had those years factored into their original contracts as their arb years (which is essentially what we do with the Prospect Tags), so they are not eligible to be tagged. The easiest way to figure out a guy's contract history is to search his name in the ProBoards search function. If you see his original promotion from the minors, or 3 or more years at 500K, then that would be someone who is Prospect Tag eligible.
