Miami Rays trade minors draft picks 1.6 and 2.6 to
Cincinnati Angels for Taylor Trammell OF CIN and Mackenzie Gore P SD
This gives me more certainty if potentially less upside. I like these players.

Confirmed. This gives me a chance to snag a couple of early round picks that should at least be equal to the talent traded away.

Drew and I have been looking at this deal since last night. We're not rejecting it but we're looking out for a new owner and the integrity of the league and want to make sure everything is balanced. Gore and Trammell are consensus Top 20-25 guys across the board right now. Whoever is picked with 1.6 and 2.6 now could be there soon but that's a huge if. It's a LOT to give up to just get two draft picks now. We'd like to see one more piece from Miami heading over to Cincinnati.
Hope that makes sense to all parties.

I wouldn’t say that’s the consensus. James Anderson of Rotowire lists Gore at 35 and Trammell at 41. But I have offered an additional player to Dennis and await his reply.
