And these projections are the ones we will use for salaries, since the cases will take too long to settle. You can base your keeper plans off these exact projections.

And if you have a player with a $3.9M projected arbitration salary for 2015, then we allow you to give him a contract for 3 years with a $1M increase each season.
15:$3.9M, 16:$4.9M, 17:$5.9M
This player would become a free agent in 2018.

So we do own the rights to a player through his ARB 3 year?

Correct. After that you have the option of restricting or franchising them, with 1 franchise tag ($15M) and 2 restricted tags per year. Those tags also include normal MLB contracts expiring and, several years down the road, our current minor leaguers' eligibility expiring.
