Yes, I did this deal soley so Michael could get another draft pick. J/K.
I needed a 1B and this trade fit the bill; simple as that. Dubon and Rutherford are high upside prospects IMO that help off-set losing the power bat of o"neill. I hope this works out for us both.

Hey guys. Drew and I have both looked at and discussed this deal. It's only less than 5% of the time that a trade isn't Commish approved but at this time we're asking for this one to be reworked, even slightly because the return to Miami is not enough. It appears O'Neill and Rutherford have about equal value. One could probably argue each of them to be slightly ahead of the other. That said, Dubon is added value into a minors system AND a full time MLB 1B with good numbers is essentially a free throw in.
We understand Michael is trying to free up space in order to make additional minors picks since we can't promote to open spots or release to open spots during the draft. But this deal needs to be balanced a bit more. Thanks.
